David E. Doran
Mr. Doran focuses on real estate and commercial transactions, corporate and real estate financing and commercial contracting and counseling. Mr. Doran has represented corporate clients in the negotiation and documentation of asset and real estate sales and acquisitions, distribution agreements, leases, construction contracts and related documentation, corporate and limited liability company formation and other general business matters. He has also represented long term care operator clients in the acquisition of facilities in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and California. Mr. Doran has represented both financial institutions and borrowers in the negotiation and documentation of secured and unsecured debt financing, as well as loan enforcement and workouts. He served as an editor of the University of Denver Law Review, has been published in the Michigan Real Property Review, and has been a presenter for Michigan Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Doran is a founding member of Doran Derwent PLLC. He spent the first 15 years of his practice as an associate and member of one of Michigan's largest law firms. |
